Moffat Triskelion

Rides

• For the inaugural Moffat Triskelion guided ride, we will be taking on the West Loop (100km) on day one, and tackling the North Loop and the South East Loop together on day two (150km).
• There will be a maximum of 8 riders in the group.
• The tour will start on the evening of Friday 30th August with a ride briefing and a group dinner.
• Ride days will be on Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September.

Accommodation

• Accommodation will be at Moffat Indepenendent Hostel.
• The tour includes accommodation for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights – but riders are welcome to join or leave early if required (although this will not affect the £200 sign up fee).
• The hostel is well set up for cyclists and has a drying room, a secure bike shed and a bike washing area.
• The hostel also has self catering kitchen, a games room with pool table, a garden and patio, and plenty of social space.
• Riders will be accommodated in mixed 4-bed quad rooms with en suite facilities. Bookings for groups of 3-4 riders will have the option of a private quad room.

Catering

• There will be a welcome dinner for the group on the evening of Friday 30th August. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available.
• Riders are invited to a group breakfast in nearby Cafe Ariete on both ride days (which is included in the tour price). Vegetarian options are available.
• Packed lunches and other meals will be on a self catering basis, with riders welcome to take advantage of the on site self catering kitchen at the hostel, or to try out any of the excellent local cafes and restaurants in Moffat.
• Complementary tea and coffee is available at the hostel.
• There will be options to stop for coffee and refreshments at cafes en route on both ride days. Note that this is not included in the tour price 🙂
